Shawn Chenoweth Scores Second Outlaw Super Late Model Victory of 2024

SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — The return to Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model competition continues to go well for Shawn Chenoweth, as evident by picking up his second checkered flag of 2024 at Sauble Speedway.
Chenoweth was fast from the drop of tthe firsst green flag on the day, laying down a lap of 13.961 seconds to put him at the top of the board following qualifying.
An invert would see him have to work his way through the field in the feature, which he did with ease in taking over the runner-up spot on Lap 8. He then took over the lead 12 laps later, setting sale from there. He led the rest of the rest of the 75 lap feature with ease.
J.R. Fitzpatrick backed up his checkered flag from the last time out with a runner-up, as Glenn Watson completed the podium. Ethan Counryea and Dario Capiro rounded out the top-five.
Passer Racing teammates Brandon Passer and Roy Passer followed, with Mike Miller in eighth. Todd Campbell’s string of strong finishes came to an end with issues on Lap 17.

The Ontario Outlaw Super Late Models are back in action on Saturday, July 13 with their first trip to Peterborough Speedway of the summer.
