At just 22 years of age, Dustyn Mombourquette of Tiny, Ontario has a wealth of racing experience to draw from. The 2025 season will mark his 12th year in racing and his 10th in full-size stock cars.

A graduate of the weekly Super Stock, Limited Late Model and Pro Late Model divisions at Sunset Speedway, Mombourquette will switch his motorsports focus to the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Series, while also making selected starts with his Pro Late Model program. While he’s excited about taking his career into a new direction, his immediate goals are to keep learning and having fun.

“Keeping both cars together and on the track will take a lot of time and effort, but I’m lucky to have some dedicated help to make sure we’re ready wherever we roll through the pit gate,” said the driver, who works as a Millwright Apprentice, after graduating from the Mechanical Technician Precision Skills Program at Georgian College. “My Dad, along with Phil Bullen, Lee Baxter, Kevin Haza, Josh Bullen and Paul Kapteyn have the background and experience it takes to help put together a solid season. I’m just the lucky guy who gets to drive the cars.”

Throughout his career, Dustyn Mombourquette has maintained a positive attitude about the sport and does his best to make the most of every situation. At the track and in the shop, the driver of the No. 16 machine says the drive to do better is what keeps him going. He never stops thinking and trying different things and trying to find ways to improve on and off the track.

Throughout his career, he’s already logged multiple qualifying heat and main event wins and is looking forward to his next checkered flag. This year’s effort is an amalgamation of his own program and one of the most experienced teams in Ontario Outlaw Super Late Models, Passer Racing. Dustyn Mombourquette says he’s thankful to everyone involved with the teams as he gets ready for the 2025 schedule.

“Bill Passer has given me an incredible opportunity this year,” said Mombourquette, who lists Peterborough Speedway as his favourite track. “I have to thank my dad for all the work he does on both cars and to my mom, who makes sure everyone is fed and hydrated. Of course, I’d be remiss without mentioning my girlfriend Bryden Dilley and the guys and gals who dedicate their weekends to support me and help make everything possible. Without them, none of this would possible.”

The Mombourquette Racing Ontario Outlaw Super Late and Pro Late Model teams will be supported by Paul’s Auto Body, Cashtown Farms, Darren Neil and Sons, Region of Huronia Environmental Services, Passer Racing, Murphy Auto Sales, Georgian Waste Services, Currie Heavy Towing, Simcoe Gases, Fastenal, JB Landscaping and Little Links Summer Golf Camps.

Fans and friends can track the team’s 2025 performance at the track or by liking Dustyn Mombourquette Racing on Facebook.
