Andy Kamrath Checks Off Another Bucket List Victory with Super Late Models

INNISFIL, Ontario — He had won in Jr Late Models, Legends, Mini Stocks, Super Stocks, Limited Late Models, Pro Late Models, and Modifieds. Now he can call himself a Super Late Model winner as well as Andy Kamrath picked up the checkered flag in the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Darren Neil Excavating 75 at Sunset Speedway as part of The Last Dance weekend.
Kamrath left no questions to be asked on the table, setting the quick time in qualifying with a lap of 13.839 seconds. An invert of fifth did not hold him back for long, as he made the necessary passes, taking over the lead on Lap 39. He then led the rest of the way, holding off the field on a couple late-race restarts.
Brandon Passer turned a sixth-place qualifying effort into a runner-up ahead of Dwayne Baker, TJ Edwards, and Ethan Cournyea.
Dario Capirchio was sixth in front of Brandon Watson, who led the opening 38 laps of the event. Scott Beatty was eighth, followed by Mike Miller and Dustin Jackson. Jackson was involved in a pair of the late-race cautions.
Glenn Watson, Chris Burrows, and Brad Pearsall rounded out the field.
